I have a 7 mo beagle/poodle. we have her house trained when it comes to peeing- she comes to us and whines. but pooping is a different story- i know she has to poop in the am and then again after dinner, we're not home during the day. she starts to circle or comes to me and whines, then i take her out on a leash, limit the amt of freedom she has by not letting her play. she starts to sniff around and i think shes going to poo but she either starts playing again or getts distracted. i keep saying - go poopie. she doesnt poop then i bring her in and within a minute she starts circling again and coming to me and whining. i take her out again stand there holding the leash and she doesnt poop. and the cycle continues. this may occur 5 or 6 times over a 30 min period and sometimes she poops outside and i praise her or sometimes she poops in the house because once she starts pooping i cant distract her to take her out. any suggestions???? we crate her at night and during the day.
