I'm a big fan of providing four footed companions with a "den" of their own. The den should be opaque on three sides and large enough for her to stand and turn in a circle in, but not much larger than that.
A caution about crating a dog. The crate, or den, is a safe place for the animal. It is not a punishment, an exile, or a training tool.
The best is to have an indoor/climate controlled den with an outdoor exercise area that she can use when she wants to. |
