if its already been banned im not sure you could always try to get a pitt bull and ask if u put it through obidieance and temperment skool's and u have the cirtificates you might be able to have one. best option check out your local humane society they might no or try to contact your local animal control or the proper goverment in charge of that.

They are trying to ban them here in Orlando, I wrote to my local representatives to try to "vote" against this.

This hurts. My dog is part pitbull and he is the sweetest. Pitbulls have a bad rep. cause of dog fighting and such & such. Pitbulls get like this because of their owners. If i were you i'd plan protests, rallys, sit-ins by pet stores etc.

The issues are politial pressure, if you can raise enough money, help with the elections of the right people, do enough lobby.
But normally they pass laws that go with what the majority of the people in thier area want. Often laws like this happen after some very public incident where a child or someone is hurt or killed and everyone is scared and react.

I am hoping for bans on these beast. Anyone that is against the bans needs to read the attacks that these beast have done, you know, the gentle, loving, caring pitbulls.

And learn to spell.

obidieance actually spelled OBEDIENCE
skool's " " SCHOOLS
cirtificates " " CERTIFICATE
goverment " " GOVERNMENT

This person is an idiot. Maybe they should be banned instead. They need to research their facts. There are almost as many attacks on children by Golden Retrievers as there are by Pit Bulls. Mowerman, learn grammar. It should be "I am hoping for bans on these beasts" and "read the attacks that these beasts have done". Before you criticize someone else about their writing, you really need to proofread yours.
