Babygirl

Hi, I lost my Dog Babygirl on 12/2/06, she was like my kid. My Dad went to my house to let her out and she was laying there and would not get up, and all around her was grany looking blood that she had pooed out. We got her to the vet and finally found a vein, it took us for ever because she had lost so much blood. Got some fluids in her and waited. The vet took her home and the next morning she called and said she died at 5:30. I am having such a hard time. She said that she must have had a tumor that we did not know about and it must have ruptured. I do not know if this is really what caused it. I am trying to find out some information but just can not seem to come up with any. Does anyone know what I am talking about or can anyone help me. Thanks. I just feel like I have an empty hole in my heart ever since she died. Thanks

I can answer, but I am afraid I know too little medicine to explain any more, and don't have the gift of words to say anything that will help. I have a Kippling poem I some times use to comfort people that lose an older dog, but I am not sure it is appropriate for you. Has anybody given you the Rainbow Bridge?

i lost two of my dogs back in nov. due to the "dogcatchers" in my town. I had two pit bulls and as soon as they found out that i did, they harassed me from then on. They fabricated stories, and so on, to eventually have to take the dogs and put them down. If i didn't comply, they were going to arrest me. i just wanted to let you know that i know how you feel about your loss. i hope things get better for you, im sorry. good luck. i know this isnt an answer, just wanted to let you know that!
