deworming time

Hi,
how often should we de worm the german shepherd pups. Mine is four months old and has been dewormed twice. last time he was dewormed on 28th may 2009.

As often as the vet tells you to. Veterinary dewormers can last as much as six months for some types of worms, but heartworm medications are at least monthly if not daily, depending on the brand.
