    Can I give my 1 moth old puppy a bath because it has fleas?

    I would rather see a more gentle method such as a flea comb. If you do give it a bath, make sure you use a product that is labeled as safe for young puppies. You need to clean the fleas out of your house. With a newly arrived puppy, a spray such as the Ovitrol I get from my vet might be enough. A established infestation may require bombing the house. If winter hasn't set in for you, you may have to treat outside too.

    It will require some extra work having removed the puppy from its mother before 6 weeks.
