Blue Razors Edge Pit Bull

I have a 1yr old pit and she was in another home i adopted her she has no real problems exept she is not eating very much at all should i change her diet, she drinks plenty. She also just went into heat, could that be the prob. Im getting ready to breed her and want her to be as healthy as possible before this takes place.

From this article and more that I have read she should not be bred until she turns 2 years old, then before she is bred there are many test and different food requirements. Maybe you need to do a lot of research before you attempt this.

teachnk agrees: Excellent advice! Please do the research before breeding.

Also, being the breed that this dog is, I suggest you thoroughly check the temperament of the father to ensure good bloodlines. Fighting and bad breeding has been a major factor in the prejudice outlook on these wonderful dogs. Also, you need be very, very careful about the home your puppy's go to so they don't end up as unfortunate as many of its kind. You might also want to be absolutely sure of your city/state's stand on pit bulls before you make any moves.
