Anxious Pom

Our daughter just inherited a 6 year old Pomeranium (sp?) female. This poor little dog has done a lot of traveling over the past few weeks. She was flown from Hawaii, transported by auto to Vancouver, BC Canada from California where she stayed for a few weeks, then driven from Vancouver to the southern interior of BC (12 hours by car). She's changed hands several times in the process of getting here. Today she is staying with me as my daughter has to be away for a day and she's only had this little dog for 2 days. The little Pom is whining continuously and although we were told that she is housebroken, that does not seem to be the case... at least not right now. Also, she is due to whelp in less than 2 weeks, probably adding to her insecurity.
To make matters worse, our Dach/Russell is jealous and that's never happened before. We are also dog sitting our daughters other dog today too... a 7 year old wolf cross. My son is due to arrive tonight with his American Bulldog. Good grief... I should open a doggy daycare and start charging a fee! AND our poor cat that had a seizure recently but seemed to recover is looking like she's about to have another.
Mostly, what can we do to alleviate this poor little Pom's anxiety?... and mine!
