5 month pomeranian cross jack russell

I have a 5 month old pommy cross jack russell and am just wondering which wet food is the best to start her off on, I refuse to give my dog canned foods as I've been told many have artificial colours and preservatives. She has been eating the Optimum dry food since we got her at 4 months. She's looking thin and I want her to be at a healthy weight..

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??

You need to keep her on puppy food for the first year for optimum growth. I have a female Jack Russell who is now going to be 7. Got her at age 6 weeks. She weighs 11 lbs. I recently discovered Purina Naturally Complete dog chow. She is generally hyper (what Jack isn't?) and I was feeding her Flint River Ranch until I stumbled onto this kibble. The pieces are small and she has no adverse affects from it like poooping too many times. She was on commercial kibble for years and then on the Flint River for about 3 years. She's been on the Naturally complete for about 3 months now. BUT your little sweetheart is too young to use this food. Would keep her eating a good puppy food. My Jack always had kibble and people food. She eats a variety of people food (leftovers) and has for years. I just don't exclusively give her kibble - never did. She loves spaghetti, tuna, sardines, etc. Just keep her people food in limited amounts and your little one should be fine.

I take it the picture is your little sweetheart. She's a real cutie.
