Itchy skin

Hello!

My dog has one spot that seems a bit itchy. The vet said that she seemed to have a little bit of grass irritation, but that there weren't any signs of anything significant. Is there something over the counter that might help? Hand lotion, hydrocortisone cream, something like that? I know I sometimes get itchy skin and a little Aveeno helps, but I don't go around licking myself either, so thought I would get some other people's opinions first.

I have used Alpha Keri on dogs in the past. I felt it was too highly scented. Try a good brushing with a soft bristled brush. Seldom if ever bathing a dog allows its natural oils to keep the skin in good condition.
