4 week old puppies

I have 4 wk old Alaskan Malamute puppies and the mom doesn't always let them nurse for long. I would like to know if it is ok to let the pups start eating puppy chow? They all have teeth.

yes i think they would be ok at 4 weeks but make the meal wet and sloopy and watch them .

My German Shepherd pups at 3 and a half weeks, were started on baby rice cereal mixed with nonfat dry milk and small amounts of ground puppy chow. just add water and the puppies love it. Mom will appreciate the help too..
