Ok, I think you were asking a new question, you make your post as a answer to someone elses question. I have moved it to its own question.

Lets see, your husband moved out? Then you need to sit both of your kids down and tell them the truth. That you and their father could no longer get along and that he has moved out. You will probably be getting a divorce. Answer all of their questions honestly and openly. Be sure to stress to them that this is NOT their fault in any way. Ask them where they want to live? with you or their dad. Try to make this as smooth as possible for them and please DO NOT bad mouth your husband in front of the kids. This sort of behavior will hurt the kids more than it helps you. Remember one last thing the only ones hurt in a divorce are the children. Adults can move on, but children are hurt for life.
