Papers are signed and we are just waiting for a court date but.

If both parties have signed divorce papers and haven't lived with each other for 3 months can one of them still get the other for adultery? My soon to be ex husband moved his ex wife in before papers were signed and now he is trying to get me for adultery b/c I have friends of the opposite sex, so can he get for adultery?

It sounds like you both can argue the same claim. Sure, he can lodge that complaint against you and you can lodge the same against him. Now if the courts will even pay much attention to it? Some judges do not see adultery as the major offense it once was viewed. If your soon to be ex husband pushes this in court, you push back. Just make sure your male friends are just that - friends and not bed partners.

"get you for adultry" not sure where you live but in most places, there is little care or concern over why you are getting a divorce,

and if the papers are signed and all the agreements made, it sounds like he is just wanting to bother you to keep you upset, holding some control over you still.

What has your lawyer had to say about it>
