how to become a student in australia when i am from britian

i am from england and am 17 years old. i am currently at school in england doing my alevels and once i have finished would like to go to australia, brisban to go to university. i would like to work out there part time as an arobics instructer and swimming teacher as i have already aquired those qualifications. i would like to study out there for 4 years to do a psychology course and have people i know out there who are willing to let me live with them. how do i go about setting all of this up. i dont know anything and my mum will not help me. what do i do?? i need help!!!!

I would contact the university and even apply. (What happens if you aren't admitted?) Are there jobs available? Will they pay enough? What about tuition?
