    Speaking disability
I use to fumble when I speak. I am used to the remarks that people pass when I am stuck in a sentence. All that worry me is the interesting fact that when I speak to my friends or outsiders (other than my family members) I speak like normal people (or get slightest of fumbles that are negligible) but when I speak to my family, this disability shoots up and I get stuck on 80% of the words in a sentence. Although my family donot complain about it but I am worried. Moreover, this disability goes up and down in some uncertain periods.

I am sure that this ability is linked to some factor other than tongue, as it does not happen all the time. I want to get rid of this, Is there anyone who can help me?

Let's start with one thing that is frequently overlooked.

    Are you on any medications?

Okay, now that we have that out of the way. It is possible that your fears are making the problem magnify itself.

You say you are okay with people outside of your family. Am I right?

If so, have you just tried to slow down, think about what you are going to say before you say it, play it over in your mind, and then speak slowly?

If you can speak normal with other people you say? But struggle speaking with your family and close people, mabe you might be feeling worried of yourself in front of other people? Or otherwise you might feel you don't want to feel worried of yourself speaking to your family? Either way you should do practises every day and think before you say something to help you out... try not to let that bother you
