Disability Housing

I recently qualified for disability in the State of Delaware. I need to move my family into affordable housing, as our rent is $1100 per month. Is there anyway I can move into disability housing without a waiting list or some type of affordable housing at either this monthly rate or preferably less with horrific credit?

Usually if you have an disability advocate or counselor to refer you they can sometimes get you on top of the list quicker than doing it yourself.
