my son is 10 years old and has severe deformation of the left shoulder and bronchial plexus from birth. we have seen a physical therapist for the last two years and have seen great improvement in his movement. however as he grows the deformation seems to grow larger..the therapist said that she doesnt know what the bronchial plexus clinic in the childrens hospital could do for him. the deformation is so severe that he has to over extend his body to use his left arm, for example catching a baseball in a mitt. The over extending is giving him a curved spine so we have started to see a separate therapist for that, and for just the simple knowledge, my son does not have cerebral palsy, of any sort. is there anybody out there that is aware of this condition? is there anyone extra we can see? the pediatrician is the doctor that sent us to therapy for this.. help!?! any answers, good or bad would be helpful..
thanks!
