USB Flash Card Problem

Hi there, bought a Flash card/Memory stick for my daughter several months ago for school. Plugged it in and worked fine. Now I plug it in and my computer can't find it, my wifes computer can't find it, whilst various other computers can. ie school computers will. My USB ports work fine.ie joystick,camera,ipod..Just pulling my hair out at why my computer won't find the Flash Card anymore...
I'ts a Kingston Data Traveller 256
Any ideas

Cheers Baz

OK sounds like it has possibly mapped itself to a drive letter already in use by one of your other devices.
It's relativly easy to resolve.
  • OPen Control Panel
  • Administrative tools
  • Computer management
  • Disk Mamagement (lists connected drives)
  • Go down the list in the lower right pane until you find the memory stick
  • Right click and select Change drive letter.
Jobs a good 'en
