Shrinking icons on my desktop

My icons on my desktop have gone really big as well as my background photo. How can i get these back to normal on a Windows Vista programme?

Same thing happened to mine!!

It was an update to the 945 chipset family, can't remember the exact update though!!

I ended up doing a full system recovery, turned off my automatic updates, and kept any of the 945 chipset updates from downloading.

So far, so good.

Good luck to you!

I'm not too sure on what you're describing, but I'm guessing that what's happening is that the resolution is changing. If you go into the display options for Windows by right-clicking the desktop, you can change the resolution to a setting you like by dragging the slider:

1) Right-click the Desktop

2) Click on "Personalize"

3) Click on "Display Settings" from the list that opens up.

4) Adjust the slider under "Resolution:"
