Asked Jul 21, 2012, 08:19 PM — 1 Answer
Hello,
I am attempting to sell a HP Pavilion A1022N desktop computer , Except i don't know much about it. I was hoping if you would be so kind and maybe shed some light on this item for me? I know it has 148GB of Hard drive, 1gb RAM memory, base processor is Athlon 64 (3,400+) 2.4GHZ.Also uses Windows 7 Professional, It also has Microsoft Office 2007 installed on it. I was wondering how much i can sell this for?

Check Ebay for systems with similar specifications (processor, memory) to get a measure of their worth. Current asking price range is $100-150. You may get more by selling the components individually. The Windows and Office licenses could be attractive if they are upgrade or retail versions and you have the media.

That said, this machine is around 6 years old and I would not recommend it to anyone wanting to buy a used machine. I had a lightly used system with the same motherboard come in for service earlier this year and the motherboard capacitors were beginning to vent and leak.
