I am getting ready to buy a NEW desktop..I don't need a lot of new fangled stuff, I do some web surfing, shopping. I play games I have purchased and downloaded myself, so I don't need complicated stuff. I don't think I can afford a laptop and not sure I want one. I have Win XP now and LOVE it..I really don't want VISTA. Does anyone have any recommendations about the best set up for the buck... I would like a package deal, with all the necessary stuff already loaded..I have a lexmark printer/copier/scanner..what a rip..but I can live with it..I am not very computer literate so complicated stuff goes over my head. I save some documents, a bunch of animations, and a few pictures. What I want to know..What is the best brand for the buck, and where to buy..The ads don't help much. The one I have now I bought as a package from Shop NBC about 6 years ago and am tickled pink with it, but it is getting old..I want a flat screen..I almost forgot..So far, I am using a dial up ISP.
