But I never use this and have never unistalled it or anything like that it came with the PC when I bought it 3 years ago and used to work fine , I also tried it on media player classic and it didn't work nor did it on windows media player.

Did you try other DVDs? If its just the one DVD, it may be from a different region or be damaged in some way. If it happens on multiple DVDs, you may need to update your codecs. To do so go to the WEB site for the player (PowerDVD's for example) and make sure you have all the updated codecs.

Can my panasonic cf-47 play dvds? [ 4 Answers ]

I have a Panasonic CF-47 Toughbook, model year about 2000. It has a Pentium II, with a CDROM. My question is: Can this machine play a DVD? Of course it can play CDs, but I was wondering if CDs and DVDs are virtually the same, as far as my CDROM is concerned. Thanks for an answer.
