computer or server?

When we sign on to the net with the auto dialer attached to our server after 5 or 10 minutes it cuts off but if e open the server folder and sign on from there then place it down in the tray it will remain uniterupted 24/7 is it the server or does the computer have something wrong with it??? thankyou for your time.

I'm not exactly sure what software you are using but it sounds like it's telling the dial up connection to disconnect after a set amount of idle time.

What are you trying to do exactly? This talk of servers and the server folder has me confused a little.

we use aol as are conection to broad band this was set to auto dialup when the comp is turned on but this keeps cutting off, however if we go to the aol
folder and dial up from the icon there it stays on we are going to look at the settings for the auto dialer to see if we an change them.

Thankyou for your help.
