i have a computer every thing was working fine in it..(p iv 1.7 mhz)

after some day when i added a new sound card its not detceting it
but i checked the sound card in another system with smae mother board and configaration it works fine
but in my pc it dosent detes in any of the pci slots ,,


please help me

You tried inserting it in ALL the slots? Does the motherboard have onboard sound? If so, you probably need to disable the onboard sound to use another sound board. How to do that depends on your motherboard. You should check the documentation or the motherboard manufacturer's web site for instructions.

Dear sir

i tried as u asked me to do , before it self but itdidnt work,

i cannot use any pci card..in any Slot.

but it was working fine before..
in the mother board all other things r working fine.
i updated bious also but still not work..
uis there any other solution that i can still use a pci card like modem,soundcard, or ethernet card..????????

You say you can't use ANY card in ANY PCI slot? In that case the motherboard is probably fried and you need to replace it. The only way to make sure is to take it to a tech who can diagnose it.
