    BIOS errror
I have installed a MSI 845E Motherboard (recently purchased) with a P4 1.5 gig CPU, 512mg DDR PC2100 RAM, and WinXP Home OS. Recently when I attempt to boot up the computer I receive the following error message: CMOS/GPNV Checksum error. I then have to go into the CMOS settings and reset everything - then it will boot into Windows. This error doesn't show up every time but intermittently. It's quite a nuisance. As I mentioned the MB is new as well as the RAM module. Can anyone suggest a solution to solving this error. Thanks, Glenmere
