| I have a stained tooth beside my front teeth. It sticks out just a little further than my front teeth, but it's not noticable and my dentist will not do anything cosmetic w/ it for that reason. Anyway, when I asked why it was stained he said that it takes the brunt of my toothbrush because it sticks out further and that I am wearing off the enamal and looking at the under part of the tooth which is slightly darker. He told me that teeth whitener will only make the problem worse. (I don't think they are safe for a child anyway.) I am 26, not 8... so my teeth have taken way more brushings, but it thought it might help! Good luck! |
