i have an abcess in my tooth caused by a dental hic-up where an emergency dentist left a steroid dressing in the wound then put a filling on top after 6mths i started to feel a lot of pain and my mouth swoll up causing my eye to swell then just after 2 days of antibiotics (ampicillin) i have green very smelly thick liquid constantly coming away from my left nostril it is not a cold and i am very concerned it will infect the rest of my body after now 7 days of antibiotics there is no change in my abcess and my nose contiues to leak horrid liquid. any ideas or advice
You need to see a dentist as soon as possible as this infection could travel upwards into your brain. Infections like this can sometimes be extremely serious. Whatever is trapped in your gum must come out immediately. Who gave you the antibiotics? A doctor or a dentist?
As I stated in response to your response in the other thread, you REALLY need to get some medical attention. Run, don't walk to the nearest Emergency Dept. Twinkiedooter is absolutely right, you could end up with irreparable damage.
