Papoose boards for the uniniated, are boards used to strap children down for dental work. It is preferred rather then sedatives or the parent holding the child down.

bijou, if you have a decent picture off the net, why dont you have one made to your specifications.

Most dentists on the north american continent wont use these boards because the parent doesnt like seeing their child tied down.

bijou, no cant let you know of a dealer or manufacturer. My suggestion of getting a picture of one and having someone make it for you was because I couldnt tell you a manufacturer. I imagine the papoose strap would be velcro.

If we knew the answer to that you wouldnt have to get have built for you. It seems to me to be a very simple design.

Here you go Bijou,

Papoose Boards by Olympic Medical

Papoose Board from MarketLab

Natus Medical Incorporated - Pediatric + Newborn Care - Papoose Boards

They sure look barbaric to me. I wouldn't let my child see a dentist who uses one!

I definitely have to agree on this! I've heard of these but don't personally know of any dentists that use them. As tick said, most parents don't like the idea of seeing their child strapped down (I know I wouldn't allow it).
