WHY ARE MEN SO WEIRD? i have a freind who in public will not let me touch him in any way...we are adults ....why does he do this ?

Maybe the guy has insecurities? Some people only like to do things in private.

I also agree with NK that maybe this guy in just not into you.

Maybe he is just not into outward shows of affection in public. That doesn't mean he doesn't care. Just for the record woman can be strange too, so don't just put it on men.

I'm with Tal -- girls can be equally as weird. I should know!

Why not ask him (to learn about him, not to change him, capice??) when you are having a more, ummm, private moment?

Maybe something about his past, maybe because of his parents, probably he's very insecure... Maybe he's ashamed? Maybe he thinks there's something wrong with touching in public.

It's weird, but you can talk to him and ask him why is he acting that way. He should have some reasons. If not, oh well, I guess he's probably not that into you.
