Why do guys want to take breaks?

Okay so here goes another question so soon- lol - My boyfriend and I haev been dating for 10 months, I have a real bad jealousy issue so I get a really nasty attitude when I don't get my way, anyway. A few months ago we took a break 0 we were still bf & gf but no serious physical contact. Then got back together cause he told me he just could not live without me as his gf. What was the purpose of the break? I am now worried that he is going to do the same thing since I have had attitude with him for wanting to hang out with his female friend whom he just started talking to again, they have been friend since 3rd grade?? Do I worry or do I trust that things will work out and he really does love me and how do I know if he does love me and just wants to hang out with his female friend???

Hello.

Many times a break is so the person can step back and look at what he/she wants in the future.

You admit you have a problem so fix it. If he has given you a reason to not trust him then dump him and find a Man you can trust. If he hasn't done anything wrong then back off and enjoy what you have because if not he is going to dump you and so will any Man your with.

If you spend as much time looking at the good in life as you do the bad you would have such a great relationship and life. Think of how happy you would be and the people around you.
