What does this all mean

ive been datin this guy for two months n still havent told my parents about him. ive already met hhis parents and i want him to meet mine but theyll ask "what is a boyfriend?" i dont know what to say. please help.

i come from a very misunderstanding family as well. i was restricted to dating within my own race specifically and it even came to where i had a prom date from a different race and flipped out when they saw my photos. my parents reserve very conservative views. its always great to have the blessing of your parents, but you know in today's society, such will not be the case.

just bring him over as a casual friend that is a boy. dont even let them know that you are "dating" him. if you're parents can get over that you're fine. if they have a problem with it, at least its a very contained situation and you can figure out what to do from there.

bringing up a boyfriend suddenly can be a shock to many families, so make SURE he's at least presentable.
