is there more to hugs?

ive been texting a lad for ages, and we both really like each other, but its not really going anywhere at the minute for a number of reasons. lately all the texts have stopped (and he told a friend of mine that things were going to change) i took this as, he is most likely getting bored and moving on. but since we stopped texting everyday when i actually see him in work a few times a week he is MORE friendly and flirty than ever and has now started getting ever closer by huggin me a lot, which has left me confused, as to why the texts stopped but intimacy has got bigger and closer. please help? what do hugs mean?

i dont think they can, i think he might have got stick off his mate for texting me all the time, but im just so confused the way he is so extra friendly in work now, do you reckon this could be the beginning of the end? and his way to sack me off is to play it nice for a bit? please help me its makin me distraught! i miss him and his texts!

maybe he knows there is no intamicy in words on a cell phone screen, and he wants to show his feelings in person

Seriously, texting is for kids. If it's progressed from texting to physical contact, what more do you want? Hug him back and get it on!
