We were in love three years ago. She is with someone else now (rather keep it short). I passed her on the road and she was crying in the car. I also know from a mutual friend the she wants to get married and he doesn't. She still calls once in awhile to see how I am doing, but very little communication in the last 3 yrs. My gut tells me this isn't going to last and that she should be with me. What can i say or do? If anything? I really want to open up to her bcz I feel that she is staying with him just to feel secure.

You should let her know how you feel. All she can say is no, but you never know. She may surprise you and feels the same way.
