| First, the minor details that are left out are actually big details too me. She is not suppose to have a boyfriend because something bad happened in the past. What did somebody tell you what happened to her?
Second, You can not control whether she likes you more or somebody else more. Things change. Things happen. You need to except whatever happens and know that there are no guarantees and that, yes, fourteen is too young to even know what a relationship is.
Third, You already said what you had to say to this girl. You hope she took what you said to heart. Let her take it anyway she is supposed to. You need to let her make up her own mind.
Fourth, Do not sit around waiting for a year. Quite honestly especially at this age it is common to like other people and to think that you should only be with one person especially now is not healthy.
Fifth, No need to panic, no need to be confused, no need to worry. Honestly if you two are meant to be together at some point, it will happen. Even if it is years later. If you both are meant to be it will happen one day. Might not be when you want. Or if it does not happen then you know it was not meant to be and one day you will find that special person. There is no need to put so much pressure on yourself. There is no need to worry about things that you can not control.
This is a time in your life you should enjoy. Not a time to be miserable and worry.
