Should I try to get my exboyfriend back

Hi everyone , me and my ex have known each other for over 10 years . A couple of years ago we finally decided to get married ,but somehow he got cold feet and decided that he didn't want to get married. I was crushed but we remained distant friends. I moved out to the west coast while he remained on the east coast. About a year ago out of the blue he decided to send me a message confessing his infinite love for me and his desire to get married. However I had now been seeing someone else ,but still somewhat attached to my ex. So I pretty much did not accept his somewhat of a proposal for marriage. Now I have since broken up with my new boyfriend and am ready to commit to my first boyfriend ( the one now ready for marriage ) However he now says that he is seeing someone else. What do I do he has only known this new girl for a very short period of time yet he now thinks she might be the one. We have a lot of history together and I'm sure i love him and he still loves me .What should I do ? Would it be wrong for me to interfere with his new relationship ? Should I walk away , Or fight for him ?

Do nothing. An ex is an ex for a reason. Both of you have changed. Do not interfere with his new relationship. Walk away. That is my advice.

Jiser agrees: Agree with this. Allthough hard, time has passed and its time to move on most likely for ever. Perhaps when you both have no baggage - try communicating with him?
