should i move on

I'm dating a guy who is 29 years old and i'm 24. He got out of a 6 year relationship 5 months ago. we've been dating for a month now. He still communicates with his ex. He claims that he doesn't want her back because she cheated and put him through hell. He put a lot into the relationship. She wants him back, but he's waiting for her to prove that to him. We like each other, but I know for a fact he's not over his ex. I don't want to waste my time, so what should I do?

If he is still talking with his ex..........and "waiting for her to prove" herself........then he is not done in that relationship. I personaly would not stand around and wait for him to decide. Tell him how you feel and then go enjoy yourself. If and when he is over and out of his last relationship then he can call on you. Until then dont stand by playing second fiddle. Life is to short.
