When they were dating things were rough he would constantly yell at her and cuss at her he cheated on her a few times. And I was there for support the whole time. They dated for 2 and a half years and eventually she left him and came to me. We've been dating for a month now and she was friends with her ex. Things kept getting closer at first they didn't text then they did, then they started calling each other and then they were friends on Facebook and I said enough! I don't want things getting any closer than they are I don't mind you being friends because I trust you but things don't go any further than they already are. Well one night while I was at work she accidentally sent me a text meant for him. Long story short the very next day after I said things don't go any further she took it upon herself to meet up with her ex and hang out. We got into a huge fight and I almost left but I love her and I believed that we could work it out so I stayed. She said she was done with him and that she wouldn't talk to him anymore and removed him from everything Facebook,her phone, etc. Well a little while after that she says that she wants to talk to him and I told her no. She just wants to say "hi" every now and then and just be his "friend" she knows it hurts me but she keeps asking and when I say no she drops it and then a week or so later she brings it up again. He doesn't want to just be friends with her. Someone help make sense of this. What do I do?

Well for one thing you don't have the right to tell her who she can talk to. She is obviously still attached to her ex, so what you need to do is just back off, leave her alone. Sounds to me like you are a good friend but her heart is still with her ex.
