No text no call

I met this guy, who lives at a different state. We hit it off from the beginning. But when he left he told me he would call every night. Now he never calls unless I ask him but he texts only once a week. When I confronted him he told me that he was busy and that he thought he called me enough. I am suppose to see him during thanksgiving break because he is in school and cannot come. It gets me mad because he makes time to hang out and talk to everyone else besides me. My friends tell me that he is using me and all that but I have no idea. I trust him completely but there are times when I catch him at his lies and he says its a joke or I was kidding. This is my first relationship so I don't know what is going. Should I break it off or what.

Cut your losses and break up with him before you get too much more involved and wind up getting hurt. He doesn't sound like he is serious about you so your friends may be right.

Awww...honestly, its hard to be in a relationship, let alone a long distance relationship.

Tell him what you need, and ask if he can provide what you're asking for, without asking for
the moon and the stars.

If you're satisfied with his answer, and his sincerity proves true, then stay. In the end,
I have faith that you will do what's best for you.
