I am in 6th grade and like this boy named Aexander (alex...which is my name too...well alexandria but ppl call me alex too). Alex flirts with me so much its not even funny. and i flirt with him back. in lunch today i was a person apart from him in line and the person inbetween was scott. alex was talking to scott and i heard alex say "shes about as tall as her (as in me) and i said "huh? what about me?" and he said "im talking about my girlfriend" those words echoed in my mind...i have a girlfriend.....(why would he flirt with me if he has a girlfriend??) then he said "she goes to athena. she was supposed to go here but she didnt" i just said "oh...". i've been trying to stay away from him scince lunch because we'll wind up flirting with eachother and since he has a girlfriend it would be wrong for him to like someone else. in H&C (home and careers.....the class after lunch)our teacher chooses where we sit (we sit where our name tags have been placed) but we dont sit in the same spot every class... alex came over to me (i was sitting down) and i said "ur over there" which was totally across the room from me. he said "dang it i wanted to sit next to u" he paused for like a milla second "because ur the only one i know in this class". he complaind and asked the teacher if he could switch but she said "no switching there there for a reason" (which there really wasnt)......all i could do was look at him during class. every so often when im not looking at him i could see him look at me through the corner of my eye. only once did we make eye contact and hen we did we stared at eachother and i smiled he half smiled. it was sort of awkward tho so we looked away at like 7 seconds. a couple other times we would make contact but it would be 4 a milla second then id look away and smile (im a chicken)....at the end of Home and Careers, he was getting his things together and i was on my way to the door. i had to walk by him to get out. i was walking by and he told me to wait outside because he has to tell me something. i thought he was going to like ask me to be his girlfriend but apperently not (thats when i remembered he had a gf.... i found out about them today so i dont know how strong there relationship is but idk) All he did was flirt with me then ask "what do u have next" and i said "science then math" and he said "ill see u wen u go to math bc social studies is right next to it".... all i said was "ok"... when he was going to social studies (after math for him) he came out of math and i was outside the door waiting to go in like everyone else in the class...i didnt know he had math tho. he came out, he flirted with me (or messed around, same as flirting... he poked me and said poke....dont ask, were weird like that XD) i smiled and he smiled then we went to class. i told my friend aubrey what happened about him asking me about i need to wait for him after class and she said OOooOoooooOOOOoo...lol....then i told her what he said and she said thats stupid....i didnt see him in the halls after or when every one was leaving (D.E.A.R. is after math and its the last class of the day and all we do is stay in the room that we are currently in and read).
i am comfortable around him. were friends aleready but we have feelings for eachother (i know he likes me.....trust me). Alex likes me for who i am and not just because im pretty. i guess ill wait for tomorrow. please tell me whats happening sooo srry that its so long its just that i dont know whats going on.....i need advice

one more thing...we each have nicknames for eachother...mine for him is chris bc he reminds me of a chris that i know....and his for me is polka dot bc of a shirt i wore one day (long story short)

I didn't say you were coming on to him, frankly I don't care. You aks a question, I'm giving my answer. First you say he has a gf then you say you think he is just saying it to make you jealous.
All I'm saying is I would not trust a guy who has a gf and then flirts with another. Whether I liked a guy or not, if I thought he had a gf, until I new for sure, I would not deal with him.
You guys are babies, who knows what goes through your heads. This whole gf/bf thing at your age is a bit funny to me.

its really getteing tempting for me to ask him b4 he asks me....he always tells me to sit next to him or for me to save a seat for him. he always flirts with me. he pokess me when he walks by me and when i look at him he smiles and walks away....this afternoon wen everyone was getting ready to leave, alex comes up to me and asks me to hold something for him....this may not seem like its a big deal but he could have gone to his other friends but he chose me. in the library wen we were on the computer (we were typing an "about me" poem) he would flirt with me wenevr we could....we never stoppped talking and we always laughed.....but wen jimmie (this 2 faced, immature jerk i went out with last year) starts saying o alex u like chris (we call alex chris wen im around cuz it gets confusing, thus which is the reason i told what our nicknames were last post) and i said "no i dont... how come a girl cant hang out with a guy without being accused of liking them" and chris (alex) said "yea same with guys" and i said this like i actually ment it (i did but not for this situation) so now i think he thinks that i just wanna be friends...but what really got me is when he helped me carry my things to my locker!!! (the library is upstairs and were downstairs)
how can i get him to not think that i dont wanna be just friends and should i just go ahead and go for it and ask him out b4 he does??? plzzz help

p.s : i know that girls ask their girl friends to keep stuff in their locker but never heard of a guy so maybe hes trying to find a reason to be around you
