Usually I wouldn't post a 'does he like me' kind of thread as I just think whatever happens happens but I'm really confused about this one.

A couple of weeks ago I met this guy as he always comes in to the bar I work at, turns out we had a mutual friend so she introduced us.

Ever since then he's been texting me constantly, always comes into the bar when I'm working and buys me drinks, he even asked if I had a boyfriend but he said his reason for asking was that recently everytime he's spoke to a girl she's had a boyfriend and he didn't want to get in trouble if i had one.

Thats the good bit, the catch is sometimes I'm not sure if he's interested at all. I'm pretty sure I've seen him chatting up a couple of other girls briefly, sometimes he's touchy-feely but other times not at all and before I went home last night he jokingly said "text me tomorrow or you're not a good friend!"

What do you think? I like him but I don't want to get my hopes up if he is just being friendly.

however there is one sure fire way of knowing that a man likes you...

he asks you out!

untill he does that,its much of a muchness what or who he does...

he may be keeping his option open,see how she takes it,kinda thing.

dont text him,cool off a little,let him chase...

Can I be honest? Yes, he likes you. I think he's smitten actually. I think somehow he is trying to stand off, be unlike all the other guys who I am sure are hitting on you at your job, the bar.

I have yet to see a female bartender standing by herself for a long period of time. Guys like the pretty girl who's plying him with his favorite beverage. Plus, most guys have a buzz. And you know us and liquor........

If this guy is texting you, hanging around alot, buying you drinks and you work at the bar, asking the boyfriend question, he likes you.

Dont blame you for being confused basically I think he is one of those type of guys that talks to everyone the same just the way he talks to people some think its flirting others dont. I really do think he is just trying to be a friend to you nothin more.

But Im quite happy to be proven wrong if the above user is correct
