Is it illegal to date someone underage?
If one person is twenty two and the other person is turning seventeen soon and they do not have sex and wont be having sex or anything like that? And the mother of the younger person approves.

It is not illegal to date.....just don't let it turn into more until the other person is 18.

Dating someone underage is not illegal.... questionable, but not illegal.

We didn't know how old the other was when we saw each other and we just connect really good, we aren't going to do anything sexual with each other, that's something to do when you are married, we just date, and we kiss, that isn't bad I hope, we just really connect well and care about each other and everything.

No Its Not Ilegal !
But In My Opinion You May Get Judged ... Its Good That You Are Not Having A Sexual Relationship Yet And You Should Keep IT This Way Until She Is 18 !
If You Love Each Other Keep Going And Dont Worry About Any Remarks Anypne Makes As Long As You Are Both Happy = )

We are happy, and nobody has judged us, her mom approves and nobody at work seems to care, that's where we met, people at work think we're cute I think, lol!!

No I meant her mom does approve, her mom was trying to get her to go out with me before she finally decided too. Everyone approves.

You may need to google "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" for state or locality. Laws are different from state to state and country to country.
