How can I get over my ex boyfriend?

My boyfriend broke up with me recently, and ever since I can't stop thinking about him and the things we used to do. I really want to forget him and move on with my life but I can't for some reason.

How can I get over him?

Summary Everyone has had to deal with the loss of a relationship, and the common theme among all of the answers is to take one step at a time, one day at a time to move further and further away from the emotional scar caused by this relationship ending.

Some of the suggestions include going out with friends, getting out and keeping yourself occupied, etc. Staying in the same place, thinking about what you could have done differently or reliving the relationship in your mind will not help you. Good luck... it DOES get better.

1st- Erase his number
2nd- Block him off aim or anything like that
3rd- Burn all his pictures
4th- Give him all his stuff back well except expensive stuff like earrings, necklaces, bracelets. Keep that kind of stuff. Give him back like bears and special pens. Stuff like that!
5th- Don't try to be friends. DO NOT talk to him at all. Let him come to you. Play hard to get. Make him feel bad that he broke up with a girl like you.
6th- At the end you'll find that it was easy to get over him and DO NOT CALL HIM (if you have his number)

My boyfriend and me just broke up as well, and I can't stop crying because It kills me to picture him with another girl. He said that maybe in the future we could reunite but he feels that we are still to young, I'm so hungover this and I can't seem to let go, please help me.

This is the exact same situation as me :( although I just realised this was months ago. Hope you are doing ok. Advice please! Lol x
