dream i keep having over and over

Well.. my name is melissa, and i'm going through a really hard time right now. I just got out of a 4yr. relationship, or well it would have been the 22nd of this mont. It's just that my lil boys daddy left me for this other girl. who has a lil girl, and by the way she don't know who the daddy is. Well anyways he chooses this girl and her daughter over my son like he dont really try to have anything to do with him. and i'm feeling like he's only with this girl because she has money because shes not cute shes big. but moneys not everything. well anyways i'v been having the same dream over and over and i was wondering if someone could help me out please the dream is about my sons father he comes back to us and he's wanting to move away and make things work. Only if it were true i wish i pray all the time that god will open his eyes and make him realize what he has. but anyways i just wanna know why i keep having the same dream over and over and if u have any advice to give i would appreciate it also Thanks!!
