I keep dreaming about an old crush of mine.

I used to work with this guy, Evan. I started having a crush on him a few months after getting to know him. I eventually told him how I felt, he didn't feel the same way thats fine. So I haven't talked to him or even seen him in over a month since we don't work together anymore but I have random dreams about him. Its never anything sexual just us hangin out and talking in the dream. I just want to know why I keep doin this because I'll be getting over him and you know not talking to him and then BAM! I have a dream about him and I start thinking about him again. I hope you can give me an idea as to why I do this.
