| | | He Thinks I'm Genderless. A good friend and I went overseas together last week as a sort of Coming-Of-Age trip with a few other friends. During the trip, the two of us got into a motor accident, which left us quite shaken. He then held my hand, and we took a slow walk down the streets late at night. A couple of days later, we went on another private walk down the beach, and I asked him if he could hold my hand again, he smiled and took it.
We've always been close - we even got into the habit of cuddling in bed during the trip. We share a lot of things, including meals, clothes, and very personal secrets. We've been on several 'dates', if outings involving only 2 people count as dates. Naturally, when he started holding my hand, it got me a bit confused. I called him last night and told him. He said he was sorry, and that he didn't think anything of it. He likened me to his best (male) friend, and said he thought his friends were all genderless.
I don't understand how he could not have realised that I would not have let any random guy hold my hand, or climb into bed with him. Is this is his obtuseness, or my misinterpretation? | | | | | | |

| I agree with talaniman, he is a jerk. Ignore him, forget it. You will find the right guy soon, but be careful to be 100% sure you both want a relationship together before he holds your hand and crawls into bed with you. Sorry girl, this may seem harsh, but its true, you must not drown in your misery too long, you may miss the right guy passing by.
Best Wishes |

| I always have a story, but when I was younger I had a great friend, my best friend, She was a wonderul lady and I still miss her friendship so much even today.
Well we moved from friends into trying to date, I can remembe that first kiss, sorta like trying to kiss your sister or something,
It wll could be there was no girlfriend feeling just friend feeling.
Or of course he may not like girls ?? |

| He is a jerk for leading you on, come on holding hands and cuddling. Who does that with a friend, and I bet he doesn't do it with his male friends (?) That you didn't go further with him, is why I think he gave you that genderless BS. |
