Great Date Ideas?

I've been dating this absolutely great guy for about two months now and we've taken it very slowly up until this point. I'm recently divorced and he's going through a custody battle with his ex and things got a bit hairy there for a bit, but its passed, we've reconnected beautifully and things are beginning to progress again. Up until last night we had only kissed and we haven't done much more than that at this point. I'm wanting to plan a perfect and romantic evening at home when he comes home after the weekend away. Any suggestions? I'd love some ideas, what to wear, how do decorate, etc...to set the mood to move a little further.

You sound like a very happy woman, I am very happy for you. I can give you suggestions, but I'm not the average woman.
I have heard that men love candles. Um, once I had rose peddles leading to the bath tub! My man came home late (not often done), and so when he came in...
Dark with candles lit. Nice music on, with the rose peddles leading up to the bathroom. I would put a little break in the peddles and leave a nice romantic note. They led him to the tub where I lay with a nice bottle of wine, and he doesn't drink wine.
That's a one in a million thing for me, I'm not really much like that.
If you do a search under 'men find romantic', you will get a lot of answers.
I also heard men love messages!
I hope I have helped a little and I wish you a nice romantic time with your man!

the_gentleman agrees: Any guy would be turned on it he walked in and followed the rose petals to a lovely lady soaking in the bath tub surrounded in candles. but it depends on how serious you want to get?

If your talking about sex? Remember the movie Fried Green Tomatoes? The scene where Kathy Bates is dressed in nothing but saran wrap?
