Get involved in some new activities. Volunteer somewhere. It's a great way to meet nice people. Join a club, a commitee, a fitness club, an activist organization or whatever it is that you are interested. Not only will you meet a whole new group of people, but you will know that you have a common interest too. You can get to know new guys without the pressure of being on a first date. Also, ask your friends to set you up. If someone is having a party ask them to introduce you to some nice single guys. Good luck to you!

All great ideas! You could enroll in an adult education class - often the community colleges will offer evening courses in all kinds of things from photography to computers to cooking. You will meet new people for sure!

first off just try more im very shy and have a hard time even talkin to girls unless its online or on the phone lol and i live in a town full of pretty girls in ohio so just try and when u get shot down try again. because rejection only hurts for a while but love can last a lifetime

put yourself out there more. but understand dating should never be your number one priority. it's also not something you should NEVER force. there is a huge difference between being lonely and being alone. being alone is human nature. your are always alone no matter what and it's something you have to accept. being lonely is the act of trying to run away from the fact that you are alone by finding someone to date all quick fast. but you should learn to live your life without anybody there

Do things you are interested in. Finding someone with separate interests than yourself is pretty worthless. Ive said this many a time tonight, dont be afraid to show a wild side, flirt a little bit, have a good time.
