I'm a guy with a fairly large playboy bunny tattoo on my bicep. It's visible in my short sleeves, and alot of girls I've met won't give me the time of day when they see it; they think it's girly.



I got the tattoo for a previous girlfriend who was into playboy bunny stuff (bags, clothes) and I half-jokingly said I'd get a playboy bunny tattoo on our anniversary, and she thought it would be awesome. So a month later I got it and we broke up shortly thereafter; she thought it was a stupid thing to do and that she wasn't serious about it, and that it look playa-ish.

I'm not a player, and I'd like to get back into the dating world, but have to overcome the first impressions when I meet somebody new.

Nice work with the drawing program...yah, I imagine a good artist could "touch it up a bit"

I guess it would be a red eagle of some sort...possibly colors darker than red could go over portions of it.

Wow...that's pretty cool...not sure about the skull, but the idea of a red/tribal thingie working the same lines as the bunny is good.

So what I hear so far is that the answer to my questions is 'No'...girls tend not to like playboy bunny tattoos on guys. Then there were several answers about coverups, and this on is a good example to start on.

I don't think that pin-ups are necessarily too girly... but in general you should take something that you like, the type of style you have/want to go for... something that fits you... have you considered going into a shop and ask for ideas ? They might be able to show you the type of stuff they do and might have some rad ideas... and of course you should look into a ful sleeve only if you want it hehe might be a bit excruciating other wise. and even a bit too much depending on your personal style etc.

seriously you could just get a sleeve done and incorporate the bunny into man different pictures on your arm like every one said just get it covered thats your best opption, and if girls walk away from a nice guy like you then thats there problem not yours!! the fact that you got a tat done just for your girlfriend its great just maybe the wrong choice!!!
