embarrassed by inexperience

iv met this guy and we started dating and now in a relationship. i am 19, he is 21, nearly 22. i really do like him and i am happy with him and enjoy his company. but my problem is that im totally inexperienced, where he isnt. he says its not a problem and he likes the way i respect my body, as i am a virgin and have done nothing! he said he will take things slowly. i don't feel uncomfortable by him, but i just dont know if its normal...for example he texts me saying he is horny thinking of me, and i just don't know what to reply to that, so i end up not replying and he thinks its strange. he also asked me to send him a naughty text, yet again i wouldn't know what to write. im just worried and need some guidance and knowledge because its all new to me and im scared of saying something wrong...is this normal behaviour for lads to feel horny especially when they are drunk? and think about sex? does it still mean they love you and want you for you and not just sex? please help

Wow, that's alot of questions. So here goes. I think it's great that you are a virgin. If you don't know how to respond to his texts, tell him, say something like, "Wow, I don't know what to say." Honesty is the best things in a relationship. And him texting you that he's horny does not mean that he loves you...NO. Make sure to not have sex with him until you KNOW that you love him. And if you plan on having sex, please get on birth control.

ooh i know that him saying he is horny does not man he loves me. what im trying to say is, is this normal behaviour from a guy? is it what i should expect? and also if a lad does have a high sex drive and does get horny a lot, can he still want to be with the girl for who she is and for comfort and that feeling of being wanted and not just with her purely for sex? i think to much at times, i think i just feel that when we do become sexually active that we wont be able to do normal things like going out for meals or the cinema, but maybe im jus overeacting.

It seems that ALL men have a high sex drive. Once you two have sex you'll most likely still do the normal everyday stuff. Sex doesn't take ALL DAY. That's for sure. If he is just using you for sex you will know, because that's all he'll want to visit for, won't want to go on dates...that sort of the thing. And from a teenage boy, yes this is normal behavior. And like I stated before, if you intend on having sex with him PLEASE get on birth control.

Um, I don't have any experience but I know this from friends and family etc that it's more embarrassing for a guy to be a virgin than a girl. Guys usually respect if their girlfriend is a virgin.
