| My Girlfriend wants a break
My girlfriend of 1 1/2 years says she wants a break. I tried to be understanding and gave her the break she wanted. She says she is stressed and tired all of the time. Her job is stressful because she works at a daycare. But she says she loves her job. We both still live at home and are both going to different colleges. But they are both only 40 minutes away from our homes and 10 minutes apart from each other. We both promised each other we would get back together. but i am scared we wont. she also said she would still hang out with me occasionally, but everytime i ask she says no. its been about a week since we havent been dating. I call her every night for about 5 to 10 minutes. We used to talk for about and hour to two hours when we were dating so i think i am doing good by giving her space. Should I quit calling her until she calls me or give her a call every couple of days for about 5 minutes. The bad thing is that we werent having any problems in the relationship. She had just told me for about 2 weeks that she was stressed. So I would try to relax her by giving massages like I always did. Then 2 weeks later she said she wanted to take a break. But the bad thing is that about a few months ago I was going to play college football in Virginia and she was going to come with me and we talked about getting married before i went. Someone please post some comments to maybe help me with my situation.
